Create a post on your blog about one of the photos you downloaded. Why did you choose a particular photo? What is it about the photo that you found interesting? Be sure to include the image in your post. Use Blogger's photo upload feature to do this.
The Flickr site was lots of fun to explore! I was able to find and download a photo in the Creative Commons area without a problem. Whether or not I'll be able to put it into my blog remains to be seen. I think that showing photos in the classroom on the SMART board and having students describe, observe, or comment orally in Spanish or using the photos as the basis for a written assignment has definite possibilities. I'm looking forward to "Thing 6" to have the opportunity to actually upload photos to Flickr. The organization modes seem wonderful to me, and I now realize that not having my digital photos backed up somewhere is tempting the fates. Hopefully a familiarity with this website will be beneficial both personally and professionally.
